I don't know if you will remember me but I hope you do. I taught science at Circleville Junior High when you were there. I ran across your blog by accident and was really impressed. I love the buzzards! Ain't it the truth?
I was actually looking for a link to Ron Hester when I found your site. I was told by Sheldon Hill (class of 87 Circleville) that Ron is singing and playing in New York so I thought I'd see what's out there. Sheldon just started teaching here in Gahanna (Special Ed). Which is a little ironic, because I'm retiring at the end of July so our paths cross but just briefly. He was bringing me up to speed on some of the old gang. It's amazing what some of them are doing these days. I'm sure you'll remember Debbie Brooks. Deb is now married and has a little boy. She is a "rocket scientist" out in California. She writes me about once or twice a month. There are things circling the earth that she designed. Imagine that. I mention these things just to remind us both of the far reaching impact of teaching. As I end this journey and start another I will never forget all the fun we had in Circleville. Wild Edibles, Science Club, homemade adult beverages :)
