"V" for Vendetta
Hey Folks,
I've neither seen the movie nor read the comic, but I got a "come-on" in my "Borders Rewards" spam, and it looked interesting. If you want, you can click on the "blueies" below for more info,
If you've experienced either work, please comment.
From Borders:
Matrix creators Andy and Larry Wachowski have a penchant for serious spectacles, which might explain what drew them to write a screenplay based on Alan Moore and David Lloyd's graphic novel about a masked crusader bent on bringing down a futuristic authoritarian regime in Britain. V for Vendetta is a gorgeously crafted mix of pyrotechnics, politics, and panache. And if that's not enough food for thought, many also see it as a criticism of U.S. policy.
