I just heard Dubya on NPR News saying he thought – in relation to the trouble in Lebanon - that it was “time to deal with ROOT Causes.”

I’ll be damned!! Republicans NEVER deal with root causes!!!

It’s them evil bleeding-heart, lefty, pinko nabobs of negativity that “deal with root causes of poverty, crime, alcohol/drug abuse, and imperial foreign policy.

Now, Dubya’s doin’ it!!! Damn!!!

Does this mean that Bush & Co. have been to Ozz for heart and brain implants, and have abandoned their habit of blaming the victims? Or is “Root Causes” just the excuse du jour?

Maybe Duh-bya just thought he was expressing his fondness for carrots, turnips, beets, and salsify.
