Poetry & Music June 3
Hey Folks,
The Columbus Arts Fest calls on the Uke Man again on Saturday, June 3 to be a “featured reader” at the Poetry Corner on Civic Center Drive just south of Main Street.
I’ll be on from 5:30 until 5:45 (that’s a long gig at this venue). Hey! If you like my lyrics, you’ll love the poetry!!!
Before the poetry (4:00 to 4:30 p.m.) I’m heading to the lot next to Skully’s ( 1151 N. High Street) to perform a solo set as part of the Garden District’s contribution to Gallery Hop/Hemp Fest/Etc.
Stop by there too!!!!

Geesh, Tom! You're getting all this exposure through great gigs and you want to pack it in? Take a vacation, rest a bit. You'll be back once you recharge your batteries.
You and the band were great on Friday. I'm just sorry I didn't get to hear the entire set. I don't know whether you were aware but lots of folks were stopping by and listening on the sidelines and all of them had smiles on their faces when they heard you. Happy smiles -- not making-fun-of-you smiles. That's what your music does. It makes peple who listen to it smile and glad they had a chance to listen.
I may catch the poetry reading if I get the chance.
