Dwight Yocum played the Stagecoach BBQ in South Bloomfield long ago (I love playing there too)- said it was the roughest venue he'd ever played - he was thrown off the stage and out the door.
The BBQ has changed for the better - Larry's is still as great as it always was !!!

Um ... I think that Phil's first public gig was actually at the Sacred Mushroom. He didn't make it to Larry's until a later. Or so the local story goes.

I never played "the Mushroom," but I DID see a "Hippy Puppet Show" there once in my "callow youth" days.
And thanks for making the Arts Fest Show!
