Letter to Kathleen Parker, addled "Dispatch" columnist
Note: In response to her 8-10-05 column ( http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/opinion/columnists/orl-edpparker07080705aug07,0,3500062.column )
Dear Ms. Parker,
Good idea! Liven up those boring classes with intelligent design!! – but why stop there?
Channeling, alchemy, phrenology, and the argument for a flat-earth would add to the excitement as well!
And as for exposing students to different ideas, golly!! Kids could really benefit from hearing more about gays, abortion, sex, non-Christian religions (especially pagan varieties), and the negative effects of corporations and capitalism (not just the good parts).
Of course, there are those who will see this as a nefarious conspiracy and scream bloody murder, but with you and the President out front defending our children’s right to hear all sides and understand what the debate is about, I’m confident that our schools will become much more interesting, and soon.

Hi Tom,
Fantastic letter. How she got to be a columnist is a mystery to me. Sondra
