Trying to Add Something to the World
Hey Folks!!
The Homeless Awareness afternoon was wonderful. I got to hear the Dublin Scioto, Upper Arlington, and Columbus Fort Hayes jaz ensembles. The sax player with Fort Hayes was an eighth grader and sounded like an old hand who’d developed his skill playing jazz clubs for twenty years – unbelievable.
The band and I had a good time – it was great!! I love my “Prodigals,” and they love me, and we love what we do! And if for no other reason, it was a great afternoon because it gave the old Ukester a chance to grind on the system and what it does to people!!
There is NO good reason, absolutely NO JUSTIFICATION as to why ANYONE should be homeless in this country if it is as wonderful, rich, “god-fearing,” goody-good, etc. as it is claimed to be. I guess it isn’t. I guess it ought to be!
